1.Main routes:

There are two main routes after the China-Europe Railway Express passes the Horgos Port of Xinjiang via the Southern Corridor, one route is through Kazakhstan - (Caspian Sea) -  Azerbaijan - Georgia - Turkey -  European countries; The other rout is through Kazakhstan - (Caspian Sea) - Azerbaijan - Georgia - (Black Sea) - Romania/Bulgaria/Italy -  European countries.

2.Route advantage:

The China-Europe freight trains transported via the Southern Corridor does not pass through Russia throughout the journey ,it is not affected by sanctions, and has begun to be favored by customers. Since the beginning of this year, more than 100 China-Europe railway trains have been launched through the Southern Corridor. All links of the railway trains have been smoothly connected, and the transit time of the railway trains is basically stable. The China-Europe railway trains through the Southern Corridor  has become a relatively mature railway transportation product between China and Europe.

3.Transportation time efficiency

Take  freight train departed from Xi 'an for example, generally  it takes 16-19 days for the train to pass from Xi 'an to Georgia Poti SeaPort  , and the entire journey to Mannheim in Germany takes 28-30 days. If the transportation volume meets certain requirements, the railways of countries along the route can be coordinated to strengthen the transport capacity guarantee and further improve the transportation time efficiency cross the Caspian Sea. At present, there are multiple shipping places such as Chongqing, Yiwu, and Zhengzhou to choose from across the country.
