China International Import Expo(CIIE), which planned, proposed, deployed and promoted by Chinese president Xi Jinping, which held in November annually since 2018 in Shanghai, is the first national exhibition with IMPORT as the theme in the world. It is a major decision made by China to promote a new round of high-level opening-up. It is also a giant measure of China's initiative to open its market to the world. At present, it has been successfully held for four consecutive sessions.
After four years of development, CIIE turns exhibits into commodities and exhibitors into investors, which has already become an important platform for the exchange of World Trade and creative ideas, connecting China and the world, becoming a comprehensive platform for international procurement, investment promotion, cultural exchanges and open cooperation. It is indeed an international public product shared all over the world.

ICBC’s Global Matchmaking
Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), as the "investment partner" of China International Import Expo, launched the "global matchmaking" platform at the third CIIE to help enterprises negotiate and trade, aiming to bring more convenient, efficient and intelligent services to enterprises and build a B2B cross-border cooperation ecosystem. This platform integrates "open platform" and "intelligent conference affairs" with the goal of promoting cross-border cooperation among enterprises in goods, services, technology, projects, capital and so on. At the same time, ICBC has steadily given full play to its comprehensive and international advantages, deepened cooperative relations with domestic and foreign governments, non-governmental organizations and enterprises, which means ICBC has made every effort to serve the Expo.
"Global matchmaking" provides a new channel for the interconnection of Chinese and foreign enterprises. It is a new attempt of ICBC to build a comprehensive cross-border service of "business, intelligence and financing" and a global-enterprise smart ecological community. Relying on perfect global network, leading financial technology and strong customer base, ICBC actively coordinates global investment promotion and sets up a financial bridge for the interconnection of Global trade in the post epidemic period. ICBC also successfully hosted the "China EU entrepreneurs conference" and "Belt and Road Initiative" cooperation forum as supporting activities of CIIE. Nearly 200 enterprise representatives from China and Europe attended the conference each year. Through face-to-face consultations between domestic and foreign enterprises, the "China EU Entrepreneurs Conference" provides participating enterprises with an exclusive demand release platform and accurately match the relationship between supply and demand.
ICBC also officially released the global financial service brand - "ICBC global", which aims to build a brand ecosystem covering domestic and foreign currencies, online and offline integration. ICBC help customers accurately obtain the required products and services in order to further improve the service experience of ICBC customers around the whole world. ICBC have reached cooperation memorandum with a number of European enterprises and further strengthened comprehensive financial cooperation in loans, trade finance, cash management, investment banking consultants, risk hedging and so on.
